4th October 2004 Windsurfing: Crossapoll, Tiree Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5-9 Surf / Sea State: 4-8ft Air Temperature: OK Sea Temperature: OK Weather: Showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Back to Crossapoll but this time it was more cross shore. Quickly rigged my 5.4 and K-Bay in the hope of going for a loop before the gales kicked in, as a result I was guinea pig for the group. Was way overpowered but I gybed back out just to lull them into a false sense of security, though I think the fact that I came out fully planing and launched into a big jump may have given it away. Spent the day chasing the wind as I rigged my 4.7 (overpowered) and 4.1 (overpowered). Excellent day just hanging on for massive jumps and out running the white water. |
